Always passionate about healthcare, Mary Anne has held senior leadership positions in companies serving the life science industry for over twenty years. In 2000, Mary Anne became the CEO & co-owner of Alliance Healthcare Information, an HCP-staffed contact center supporting the communication needs of pharmaceutical and biotech clients by providing product and disease state information to prescribers and patients.
When Alliance was acquired by the UK-based United Drug in 2007 and rebranded as Ashfield, Mary Anne took on the role of President, North America, with responsibility for all of Ashfield’s medical and commercial service companies in the United States and Canada. Under her decade-long leadership, Ashfield achieved unprecedented growth in both scope and revenue.
As CEO of Diligent, Mary Anne leads a company that blends industry best practices, subject matter expertise, technological innovation, and a sense of restless dissatisfaction to design and enact solutions that far exceed client expectations.
Rhonda has decades of vendor-side experience working with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to implement, lead, and continually enhance solutions designed to achieve business objectives. On the Commercial side, she has led field-based and virtual sales teams—ranging from several people to several hundred—across a number of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, pulmonology, and women’s health. She has also led field-based, Nurse Educator teams, and customer service teams providing “Total Office” support.
Denise has nearly 20 years of senior-level leadership experience at Diligent Health Solutions and its predecessor company, WRB Communications. She has partnered with dozens of clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to meet their strategic communication needs through innovative and impactful solutions. As Global Chief Operating Officer, Denise leads our operational and client services functional areas. She gains a deep understanding of client goals and objectives and leverages our expertise and resources to design, implement, and continually enhance programs that exceed client expectations.
Ron has worked in pharma and biotech services since 1989, when he joined Telerx, a pioneer in contact center-based healthcare communications. A CPA, Ron’s first role at Telerx was VP of Finance; he soon added responsibility for all operational areas. With a focus on high-touch customized solutions, client satisfaction, and client retention, Telerx grew exponentially under his vision and leadership.
In 2011, Ron purchased an interest in WRB Communications and became its president. He expanded WRB’s medical information and commercial services while creating a client-centric culture. WRB grew significantly year-to-year until its sale to EnvoyHealth in 2017. In 2019, Diligent Health Solutions purchased EnvoyHealth from Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy.
In his role at Diligent Health Solutions, Frank collaborates with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver effective technological solutions that drive business performance for our clients. He has extensive senior-level IT leadership experience in the pharma and health care industries, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure and implementing technology that supports business goals. Frank has deep expertise in systems design, global application development, enterprise software implementation, and Agile Project Management.
Susan has over twenty years of experience collaborating with Life Sciences companies to craft solutions to meet their business goals. She has deployed and led sales teams ranging in size from 10 to 1300, has devised and implemented direct-to-practitioner marketing logistics and support programs, and has designed and directed contact center-based pharmaceutical initiatives within the commercial, patient support and medical affairs arena. Over her career, Susan has held senior leadership and business development roles for vendor-side companies such as Pharmagistics (later acquired by Publicis and Knipper), WRB Communications, and Ashfield, a division of UK-based United Drug.
Eva has over two decades of commercial pharma and biotech experience, working with clients to create alliances and develop programs for implementation and delivery both in the U.S. and internationally. Highly inquisitive and strategic, Eva excels at collaborating with clients to develop flexible approaches that meet their current and evolving business needs. Eva’s past experience includes commercial leadership roles during her 12-year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline and four years at Zogenix, a specialty pharmaceutical company. More recently, she held senior Business Development roles for vendor-side service companies.
Working in close collaboration with our clients and internal resources, Maria leads the implementation process for client programs. She works closely with Diligent Health Solutions staff and client stakeholders to ensure programs are strategically planned and smoothly launched. Maria has over 30 years of operational management and client services experience, primarily for pharmaceutical outsourcing companies. Her past senior leadership roles include Vice President & General Manager of Client Operations at Telerx (now C3i) and Vice President of Medical Call Center & Client Services at Ashfield.
Alena ensures Diligent staff adhere to quality-focused, highly-compliant policies and procedures. Alena and her team keep current on all government regulations, provide regular training, and perform internal monitoring and audits across the business. She has deep expertise in GxP quality management systems, audit preparedness, and the validation of data-collection platforms. After holding positions of increasing responsibility at several pharmaceutical companies—including Organon, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson—Alena founded Galante Compliance Services in 2008. In her consulting role, Alena provided regulatory compliance and quality guidance to regulated industries and their outsource partners.
Jack provides operational and strategic leadership of Diligent Health Solutions’ suite of pharmaceutical HUB services. He has extensive experience working with life sciences companies to deliver efficient, effective, patient services-focused programs that improve health outcomes and create brand loyalty. Jack has held HUB project management positions at the medical device manufacturer Senseonics and at AmerisourceBergen, the drug wholesale and distribution company.
An experienced contact center operations leader in the outsourced pharmaceutical services sector, John manages Diligent Health Solutions’ inside (virtual) pharmaceutical sales solutions. He is involved and invested in all program elements to ensure success—program design, recruiting, training, day-to-day management, and the creation of reports that provide clients with actionable data. John’s past roles include senior sales management positions at leading outsource providers as well as extensive experience as an industry consultant.
Daniel leads Diligent Health Solutions’s Human Resources functions—including recruitment, on-boarding, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and the management of our Human Resource Information System (HRIS). To support the staffing of new client programs, Daniel develops and maintains recruiting networks and relationships with various talent pipelines, colleges and career centers. He has extensive prior experience as a Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Professional in the health care, hospital, pharmaceutical, and insurance industries.
Laurie works with our Commercial Services management team to design and deliver highly-effective Inside and Hybrid Sales solutions. She has over 20 years of experience training both field-based and virtual (inside) pharmaceutical sales representatives. Her past corporate roles include National Sales Director for Galen US Pharmaceutical Company, and North American Regional Learning Manager for Pfizer.
Irene is a biopharmaceutical industry consultant whose career spans thirty years in the areas of drug safety, medical information, patient assistance, and healthcare contact center management. Prior to providing life sciences consulting services, Irene was the Director, Medical Information Center for Janssen Pharmaceuticals. In that role, she had responsibility for the management of multiple healthcare contact centers, ensuring that patients, caregivers, and HCPs received excellent service delivered in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Sandra is a life sciences consultant with deep strategic and tactical experience in enacting innovations that lead to transformative change. She has led the design and implementation of inbound and outbound contact centers, digital health coaching and education services, as well as HCP and consumer marketing strategies. Immediately prior to her independent consulting work, Sandra spent over a decade at AstraZeneca in various leadership roles, including Senior Director, Digital Marketing Solutions and Senior Director, Call Center Channel.
